Mamas for Obama

We filled up the Buick yesterday morning with a bunch of Mamas and their daughters and went and saw (well kind of) Barack Obama in Hart Plaza. What fun! The lines and crowds were crazy. We marched in with the Teamsters during the Labor Day Parade and got right into the Plaza. We were way far away (the photo to the left is from the paper) and we couldn't hear very well....but hey we were "breathing his air" as Marcella said. Our view was the one between the two tents in the photo. Santoscoys hosted a great BBQ last night for a bunch of friends so we had a fabulous day to say goodbye to summer and hello to the future.

Well, girlfriend, you sure aren't letting a little thing like packing up your kids and your life to move to another country slow you down, are you??? You're getting nervous and I'm getting sad thinking about you leaving. But so excited as well for your latest adventure to finally happen. If I have to bust in on you at Crain's to give you a send-off hug I will, but hopefully we won't have to resort to that. Stay cool, calm and Colleen. Your bud, Kim
